It was love at first sight, said Megan Russell, director of recruitment and development at Marshall Universitys School of Pharmacy. Come her freshman year of college, Megan moved from Man, West Virginia into Twin Towers West. She loved the tightknit campus, compactness and the large university perks with a small college feel. A member of Phi Mu, a sorority, Megan recalls her senior Greek Sing as her favorite Marshall memory. While they did not win, they had fun singing and dancing with one another. Receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations in 2008 and her Master of Arts in Communication Studies in 2010, Megan knew she had to stay at Marshall because there is no better place she fits.My hope is that weAs a student, I learned to be flexible and adapt to change. In my current position, I juggle multiple projects at all can continue to providetimes, so its important to go with the flow. Dr. Kopp had the unrivaled ability of mixing the tradition of our past with the vision of our future. There was unparalleled growth during his time as president because he understood the positive impact Marshall has had on Megan Russell, Director ofHuntington and the tri-state area, Megan explained. Recruitment and Development for Marshall University's School of Pharmacy There was no bigger champion for the creation of our pharmacy school than Dr. Kopp. We would not be here today without his guidance and visualization of an innovative pharmacy program and health science campus for our students.Megan resides in Huntington with her husband and son and hopes her alma mater continues to prosper."
